Vice President of Finance

We are looking for an experienced Vice President of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of business and drive the companys financial strategy and planning for our Professional Employer Organization (PEO). You will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company as well as possible risks and investments.


We expect the candidate to be a reliable professional with broad knowledge of all accounting, financial, and business principles.


They are strategic thinkers and influential leaders who can make the most profitable decisions.


The goal is to guide the company toward profitability and long-term success.


Responsibilities:



Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks.


Manage quarterly audits and federal/state tax payments.


Manage our state compliance and state licensing.



Maintain business filings and federal/state business filing requirements.



Retain constant awareness of the companys financial position and act to prevent problems

Set up and oversee the companys finance IT system

Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel (management accountants, internal auditors, etc.)

Oversee all audit and internal control operations.

Manage relationships with vendors, including billing reconciliation and payment.

Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance quarterly and annually.

Analyze and make forecasts and report to upper executives

Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines

Requirements and skills

Proven experience as director of finance or a similar role

In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices

Solid understanding of financial analysis and forecasting

Proficient in the use of Google G-Suites, MS Office, and Quickbooks

An analytical mind with a strategic ability

Excellent organizational and leadership skills

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

BSc/BA in accounting, finance, or relevant field required.

CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus



The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000 before bonuses.
